Our multi-gold winning Costa Esmeraldas 64% dark milk chocolate is a rich, robust, chocolate bursting with juicy notes of chocolate, forest fruit, dried fruit and aromatic spice. 
 
Created as an homage to a childhood spent gorging on cherry liqueur bonbons.. well it was the 80's after all!  Iris and Bob both enjoyed these delights and these memories inspired our tastings and recipe refinements.
 
For this bar we added Morello Cherry Liqueur to this chocolate bar, making this a light alcoholic chocolate. We used Italian Tuono almonds for their milder, creamier taste in this chocolate. Almonds and cherries are combined in our multi award winning 64% Costa Esmeraldas, Ecuador dark milk chocolate. The strong chocolate flavour features in this chocolate, as well as it helps elevate the boozy cherry flavour with a nice mellow chew of the almond pieces.
